Major Sector ETFs: last week we said that: “with the exception of XLV, the major sector ETFs are now short-term oversold, or nearly oversold. Of these oversold sectors, XLF, XLI, XLP and XLY remain in short-term neutral trend, so we should expect these names outperform the market in coming days.” As anticipated, XLY and XLI outperformed the market last week, down about 0.6% whereas the benchmark SPY lost 0.7%.
