CEM News - Market Outlook (the technical analysis of financial markets) for February 1, 2010: “…Friday’s bearish trading action, as a matter of fact, was pretty consistent to the “bearish case” that we’ve traced out in the previous Market Outlook when wrote that: “the S&P is now at its most oversold level since summer 2009 as it danced around the closely watch technical level – the November low of 1083. Additionally, Money Flow measure continues trending lower from above the zero line. Again, this tells us that there is very little appetite for more buying, despite lower prices.
